Summary:
The feed mill manager is responsible for the supervision of all employees and all daily operations in the feed mill.
The manager is responsible for training employees, scheduling feed mill activities, ordering ingredients and supplies, conducting housekeeping audits, scheduling preventive maintenance.
The manager is responsible for compliance with all company policies, local, state and federal policies, laws and regulations.
The manager will operate standard office equipment, feed manufacturing equipment and computer automation equipment.
Will coordinate all deliveries and delivery schedules.
Principal Duties and
Responsibilities:
Supervise and train feed mill- & delivery employees Schedule feed mill & delivery activities Review daily production reports Perform regular housekeeping audits Order ingredients and supplies Schedule preventive maintenance and document maintenance activities Operate and repair manufacturing equipment Comply with all local, state and federal laws, and regulations Performing activities required to complete the daily feed mill checklist Complete appropriate paperwork and reports Perform other duties as assigned Manage inventory of bulk & bag products Manage the daily corn grind to keep it in the target area Comply with all biosecurity policies
Experience:
A minimum requirement of a high school degree or equivalent and a minimum of two years of experience in feed manufacturing Knowledge of feed manufacturing equipment operation and maintenance Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$55,000.
