If you have a passion for making a positive change in your community, LSI is looking for you. Our Bremwood Residential Treatment Center in Waverly has a long history of serving trauma-impacted kids in Iowa. LSI is looking for a compassionate, dedicated full-time Residential Nurse to empower these children toward success.
Duties
Our Residential Nurse directly interacts with children on our campus each day. Along with coordinating the residential program's health care and medical services, this role is responsible for:
Monitoring children's health care and medical needs
Immunizations
Setting up and tracking medical appointments
Overseeing medication administration
Monitoring funding sources for resident care (Title XIX, Merit, or IFMC)
This role typically involves a Monday to Friday schedule day shift hours, with occasional evening and weekend assessments.

Qualifications
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited school of nursing, with a current Iowa license as an LPN or registered nurse (RN). Our Residential Nurse must also remain current with CPR certification, and must have one year of acute care experience. One year of general experience or specialized training in the treatment of severe emotional or behavioral health is preferred.
This position requires a valid driver's license, auto insurance, a good driving record, and the ability to pass an extensive background check, including checks of the Dependent Adult and Child Abuse registries, the Sex Offender registry, and the criminal history check.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
