Maintenance Technician

The function of this position is: To work as a team member to operate and maintain various packaging equipment in a safe and productive manner. Respond to all line stoppages quickly, and return to operation through trouble shooting and repairing the problem. Complete overhauls and changeover duties. Perform preventative maintenance in order to prevent line stoppages. Maintain all required paperwork including but not limited to quality checks, production reports, and inventory documentation. To perform and understand quality checks and associated paper work in accordance with the Nestle QMS. To maintain general housekeeping and food safety related sanitation. To learn and adhere to good manufacturing practices. To support and contribute to a continuous improvement culture. Perform troubleshooting and equipment repair. Complete overhauls and changeover duties. Complete and understand all inventory transactions required for the position. Create and complete work orders and their associated parts transactions. To understand and follow the Waverly Norms.
DUTIES
Inventory consumptions and reversals
Quality checks/Line relief
Inspections and preventative maintenance
Repair and equipment troubleshooting- work order creating and completion
Operate and control line equipment
Equipment changeovers
Perform any other duties assigned to you by a supervisor
General housekeeping and sanitation
Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
Ability to communicate written and orally in English.
Willing and able to stand on a frequent basis.
Willing and able to work overtime.
Willing and able to work various shifts.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
