Service Desk Analyst

Kforce has a client in search of a Service Desk Analyst in Waverly, Iowa (IA). This position would provide Tier I (or primary) call center support to end-users for either PC, server, network access, or mainframe applications and hardware.Responsibilities:
Responds to and diagnoses problems through discussions with users
Problem recognition, logs, research, isolation, resolution, and follow-up steps
Escalates complex problem to appropriate support specialists
1 - 3 years of experience
Patience and strong customer service skills; not all callers will be tech savvy
Ability to listen well and have a technical mindset
Training will be provided by client
Consistently good in quality or performance; trustworthy

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
