JOB SUMMARY
The Warehouse Supervisor assists the Warehouse Manager in providing materials, equipment, and supplies by directing the receiving, warehousing, and distribution services.
JOB DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assists receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures
Hire and make recommendations on employment status
Directs all store personnel to build revenue and meet sales goals
Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols
Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system
Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Establish and preserve a positive work atmosphere
Operate forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment
May be required to cross train and perform other duties
QUALIFICATIONS
1+ years warehouse supervision experience
Ability to interact with the team in a fast-paced environment, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient
Ability to multi-task and coordinate, analyze, observe, make decisions, and meet deadlines in a detail-oriented manner
Ability to work independently without supervision
Flexibility with hours: ability to work varied hours, days, night, and weekends as business dictates
Ability to participate in our online applicant and new hire onboarding process remotely
Ability to complete computer-based training
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise several hourly associates
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally to all audiences
Good visual acuity
Close vision for computer work
Repetitive wrist movements on keyboard
Ability to sit/stand/walk for long periods of time
Ability to walk up and down stairs multiple times per day
Ability to repetitively lift, bend, carry, and push
Ability to lift, push, and/or pull a minimum of 30 pounds. Reasonable assistance may be requested when lifting, pushing, and/or pulling are undertaken which exceeds these minimum requirements

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
